Our recommended weight ranges are a useful starting point, but every dog is different. Their breed, body shape and preferred sleeping position can all influence which size feels best.

Some dogs love to curl up in a snug space, while others prefer plenty of room to stretch out — so we always recommend measuring your dog before choosing their bed.

Our recommended weight ranges are a helpful guide, but the best fit also depends on your dog’s individual size and how they like to sleep.

Before choosing their SootheSoft:

1. Measure from nose to tail.
Measure your dog from the tip of their nose to the base of their tail while they're standing comfortably.

2. Think about how they sleep.
Dogs that love to curl up may be comfortable with a snugger fit, while dogs that stretch out will appreciate some extra room.

3. Consider their overall size.
Weight is useful, but body length and height can help you choose between two sizes when your dog sits near the recommended range.
